Online backup and online update "Not connected to internet" message

Firewalls may be set up and causing the problem. Go to Internet Explorer:

  1. Select Tools
  2. Select Internet Options
  3. Select Connections
  4. Select Lan Settings
  5. Select Automatically detect

Then set up an icon on your desktop to do: Nemwebu.exe (online update) Or Nemback.exe(online backup)

If the online backup and the online updates still do not work you will have to call your hardware people and have a review your setup.
